Weddings
The occasion of a wedding is a sacred one, for it involves two people making a lifelong commitment before God and other witnesses. A wedding at St. James is a worship service and deserves serious and careful planning. At St. James, we consider it a privilege to be part of your wedding. Mt. Lebanon Chapel at Airlie Gardens is also available for small wedding ceremonies (fewer than 120 people).
St. James clergy must be consulted at least 90 days before the wedding date and before any times are set or other plans made. The couple is required to meet with the officiating clergy several times before the wedding. If either the bride or groom was previously married, the Clergy must obtain permission from the Bishop of the Diocese to officiate.
