Kanuga’s Christian Formation Gathering, “Light on the Path,” will enjoy a different pace in 2021. This gathering will allow time for conversations as we ponder the path that we have traveled during the past twelve months. There will be time for worship, spiritual growth, reflection, imagining, dreaming and mapping our future with the hope of endless possibilities. This Kanuga Gathering is open to all who want to learn and to gather with old friends and new, both lay and ordained. The paths that we will travel together will share the light of hope, opportunities, awareness, laughter, joy, and friendships. Join us on this incredible journey with God’s Promise of wonderful possibilities. Join us for “Light on the Path.”
IMPORTANT RESERVATION INSTRUCTIONS
Once you click “Book Now,” in order to reserve blocked accommodations and rates, you MUST enter the Group Code FORMATION21 and the numbers of adults (13 and up) and children (3-12) in your party. Rates are calculated based on these numbers, so if they change after booking, contact us to update your reservation.
One person must serve as the responsible party for each reserved lodging unit, i.e. Inn Room and/or Cottage, paying for the lodging and all per-person program/meal fees for all guests, adult and/or child, staying in that lodging unit. You may access the details of the reservation through the guest portal link provided to you after registration, or Kanuga reservations staff can generate a statement for your group. Reservations must be made by May 24. After May 24, blocked rooms will be returned to inventory and special pricing will no longer apply. Rates include meals and programming for all adults and children listed on the reservation. The “Book Now” system will prompt you, during the reservations process, to add the names of all members of your party staying in that lodging unit. Please include ages for children as well, so that we can prepare appropriate children’s programming.
Registration: $255/adult, $210/children (3-12) includes meals and program. There is no registration fee for children under 3. Registration fees will automatically be calculated when making your lodging reservation online via “Book Now.”
Lodging Reservations: A range of accommodations is available in Kanuga Lake Inn and historic cottages. Rates range from $130 to $279 and the cost is in addition to event registration.
Non-participating guests: $180/person, must be entered manually (online reservations not available). The rate includes meals, social and use of facilities. Contact the reservations department, 828-692-9220, after you have made your reservation, to add a non-participating guest accompanying you.
Commuters: $210/person, must be entered manually (online reservations not available). The rate includes programming and meals, minus breakfasts. Contact the Reservations department, 828-692-9220, to make a commuter registration.

Cookie Cantwell, the Province IV Youth Ministries Coordinator, has been the St James Parish Youth Ministries Coordinator in Wilmington, NC for 26 years. She is this year’s conference coordinator.
