Wednesday Bible Study
Wednesday, October 2, 2024, 11:00 AM
Wednesdays | 11:00 a.m. | Graham Parlor or Zoom
The Wednesday Adult Bible Study will kick off at 11 AM on September 11. Whether you are a novice Bible student or have studied Scripture for years, we will all have the opportunity to learn and grow together through interactive engagement with God’s Word.
Upcoming offerings:
- During October Susan Ingle will lead a study of Philippians.
- Philippians is a letter Paul wrote from prison. It is outstanding as the New Testament letter of joy; 'joy' in its various forms occurs some 16 times within the 4 chapters of the letter. For the 5 Wednesdays in October, the adult Bible Study will take a deep dive into Paul's letter to the Philippians. On October 2 we will begin by looking at Acts 16, which tells the fascinating story of the founding of the Philippian church. On the following Wednesdays we will study and discuss the 4 chapters in the book. The format for this study will be a combination of teaching and discussion. Each session will be stand alone, so bring your Bible and join us as often as you can.
- In November the Rev Phillip Craig will lead.
- Wednesdays in Advent will feature a survey of the scriptural basis for some of our best-loved Advent hymns, led by Dr Bill Weisser and Susan Ingle.
