Meals on Wheels

St. James is once again responsible for the delivery of Meals on Wheels on Sunday, December 29th and we need volunteers! Anyone willing to drive, cook, and/or bring dessert is greatly appreciated.
We are responsible for preparing, packaging, and delivering meals to approximately 180 grateful Meals on Wheels recipients, who are elderly or disabled shut-ins, many of whom have little to no social interaction or hot meals other than Meals on Wheels. These clients would often go hungry without this ministry. Your active participation in this vital program is greatly appreciated.
We’re so thankful for the hands who have committed time and talents already! We are still in need of 4 more drivers, casserole cooks, and bakers of delicious sweets.
If you are able to help us pack, please let Molly know that you plan to be in the Perry Hall Kitchen by 7:30 am on the 29th.
If you are interested in cooking or providing supplies, please reach out so we can send the recipe for the meal.
