Director of Music Search

The search for a new St. James Director of Music is officially underway! The search committee for our next music director has been selected and the members are as follows:

  • Co- Chairs:Rev. Gray Hodsdon and Dawn Carter
  • Billie Holland
  • Amy Luck
  • Jenna Porter
  • Coleman Burgess
  • David Dougherty

*Bishop Henry Parsley is serving as the spiritual liaison and met with the committee at the charge meeting in September.

As we move forward, here is a rough timeline for what our parish family can expect from this search.

  • January 2025 – At the beginning of the year, we plan to post position. We will accept applications through the end of the month, officially closing in Febuary 2025.
  • February- We will evaluate applicants and conduct zoom meetings with top candidates.
  • March- The committee will invite top candidates to campus for meetings, performances, interviews
  • April- Committee to present recommendations to Rev. Phillip Craig for selection.
