Congregational Care Update: Hospital Stays
Privacy policies matter. In recent months, hospital procedures have been adjusted to help protect personal health information. For the purposes of the church, this means that clergy no longer have direct access to a list of Episcopal patients in the hospital.
Although we very much would like to visit you during your hospital stay, our clergy and staff will not know you are there unless we are told. Please call the church office or fill out an online prayer request (pictured to the right) to have clergy or other visitors contact you during your stay or as you recover.
Please note that we will never add your name to a prayer list without your permission. You may also use the online prayer form to let us know of any upcoming procedures. It also gives an option to have your request remain confidential or to share with the St. James family.
