Family Breakfast at St. James

Join us for one of our favorite St. James Parish traditions, Sunday morning Family Breakfast at church!
Anyone can be a Team Leader!
Team Leaders are responsible for recruiting enough people to fill out their team. A team typically needs 4-6 adults to make it happen. Kids are welcome and are great at helping set the tables and collect dirty dishes as well as some sous-chef-style cooking!
What's for breakfast?
Typically, we serve simple breakfast staples like scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, biscuits, fruit, cinnamon rolls, etc. Teams are asked to supply whatever food they want to serve. We average 50-75 meals per Sunday!
Do we get up with the chickens?
Teams are to arrive around 7:30 a.m. to begin setting tables and cooking. Breakfast is served from 8:30-9:10 a.m. in the Great Hall to catch the people coming to the 9:10 Faith Formation Hour and leaving the 8:00 service.
We hope to have enough teams so that each only rotates through 3-4 times per year and plan to host our first breakfast on Sunday, January 7, 2024.
