Stewardship 2024: Concluding the Formal Campaign

Dear Parish Family,
It is fitting that our 2024 Stewardship Campaign concludes just as we enter the season of giving thanks. Although we all are thankful for the many blessings in each of our lives, the end of this year’s campaign gives us the opportunity to focus our thanks on you, the members of this Parish family. Earlier this fall we invited you to invest in St. James and its people, its place, and its programs. We asked you to prayerfully consider your pledge and to reach deep to fuel the Church’s march into the future. As of Thursday, November 16, 2023, we have received 241 pledges totaling $1,172,425. We are, in a word, astounded.
While we still have progress to make before the end of the year, the response to date gives us confidence that St. James is not only well-positioned to maintain its recent momentum, but will build upon it moving forward. Your commitment will allow the Church to invest in the people, both us all as members of the Parish and in the staff who so graciously and effectively steer us; to maintain and improve this place, our Parish campus and facilities, to guarantee that our community will remain physically rooted together; and to fund and build the Church’s programs, which serve to bind us together and invigorate our spiritual growth.
For all who have pledged to give, we thank you. For those who are still considering their pledge, remember that there is still plenty of time to consider and pledge. Every dollar counts and no pledge is too small. As we conclude this campaign and move towards year end, we will partner with the Vestry and others to make our final push. We do so with grateful hearts, thankful for our Church, its volunteers and staff, and for each of you.
Blessings,
Your 2023-2024 Stewardship Committee
